Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s wife shares news on abducted children

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, rose to global prominence after Russia’s 2022 invasion. While facing immense challenges, he has the support of his wife, Olena Zelenska, who has been instrumental in providing normalcy for Ukrainians. Olena, a dedicated advocate for children’s health and education, has worked tirelessly since Zelenskyy’s presidency, even as the war affected their family life.

Olena and Volodymyr’s relationship began in their hometown, Kryvyi Rih, and after dating for eight years, they married in 2003. Despite their early focus on their careers in comedy and writing, their paths eventually aligned politically. Olena’s initiatives as First Lady focused on reforming school nutrition and healthcare.

Since the war’s onset, Olena has faced emotional strain due to prolonged separations from Zelenskyy, but their bond remains strong. She continues to advocate for Ukraine, focusing on the abduction of Ukrainian children and international support for the country.
