UPDATE ON KATE MIDDLETON AS FIRST OFFICIAL ENGAGEMENT SINCE SURGERY IS ANNOUNCED

Kate Middleton’s first official engagement since her surgery has been announced for June 8, where she will review Trooping the Colour, one week before the main event. The Household Division website states that the review will be identical to when reviewed by His Majesty The King, with over 1400 soldiers and 400 musicians participating.

Amid concerns about Kate’s health, this announcement provides reassurance to royal fans. Speculation about the severity of her condition has circulated, despite the Palace’s statement that she is “doing well.” Kate’s absence from public view since Christmas fueled further speculation until a recent photo showed her outside Windsor Castle with her mother, Carol Middleton.

While the Royal Family has tried to reassure the public about Kate’s recovery, the lack of information has led to conjecture. Despite this, the news of her upcoming engagement signals progress in her recovery and offers hope for her return to royal duties
