On February 17, 2025, Delta Air Lines Flight 4819, a Bombardier CRJ900 operated by Endeavor Air, overturned during its landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The plane, carrying 80 people, skidded off the runway in snowy conditions, resulting in 17 injuries, including three critical cases. Fortunately, there were no fatalities. Eyewitnesses shared images and videos of the plane upside down, with passengers evacuating through emergency exits. The incident caused delays and diversions at the airport. Weather conditions, including snow and strong winds, may have played a role in the crash. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada, with U.S. investigators, is probing the cause of this serious accident, highlighting concerns about aviation safety.
