People think The Simpsons have ‘done it again’ with Elon Musk prediction

Fans of The Simpsons have once again praised the show for its “accurate predictions,” this time linking tech billionaire Elon Musk to the character Hank Scorpio. Known for predicting major events, The Simpsons once depicted Scorpio, a supervillain with plans for world domination, wielding a flamethrower. Musk, in 2018, also sold flamethrowers and recently appeared at a political event waving a chainsaw, leading fans to draw comparisons between the two.

In the episode You Only Move Twice, Homer Simpson’s new boss, Scorpio, is bent on world domination, and Musk’s recent actions seem to echo this. Musk himself has even joked about being like Scorpio, referencing the flamethrower comparison on social media.

Fans have pointed out Musk’s growing influence in politics, his government role under President Trump, and his increasing resemblance to the evil character. With his bold actions and eccentricities, many now believe Musk has reached the “Hank Scorpio stage” of billionaire behavior.
