Ocasio-Cortez’s Constituents Rail Against Her As Crime Soars in Her District

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is under fire as crime surges in her Bronx/Queens district while she focuses on national exposure through events like the “Fight The Oligarchy” tour with Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Since her 2019 election, major crimes have reportedly increased by 70%, with the 110th Precinct in Queens seeing a 105% rise. Constituents accuse her of neglecting local issues in favor of political ambitions.

Former supporters say she’s absent from the community and unresponsive. Critics argue her rhetoric on race and policing has worsened conditions.

Some, like police experts, say her policies have discouraged law enforcement recruitment and left communities vulnerable to rising crime and violence.
