Neighbor’s Hilarious Response to Halloween Decoration Criticism Went Viral!

Salena Webb, a South Carolina mom of four, loves Halloween and decorated her yard with a spooky graveyard scene, complete with skeletons, tombstones, and a casket. However, when her neighbor requested that she take down the casket due to his father’s recent lung cancer diagnosis, Salena didn’t hesitate.

The neighbor explained, “My dad thinks the decorations are a bit scary.” Understanding the situation, Salena said, “I didn’t want to add stress to someone else’s life.” She removed the casket, replaced it with badminton rackets, and moved scarier items to her backyard.

Salena shared her story on TikTok, captioning, “Kindness is free, and compassion goes a long way.” Many viewers praised her empathy, with one commenting, “This was beautifully handled. The world needs more people like you!”

The neighbor appreciated the gesture, saying, “You’re good people,” as Salena also brought him a card and balloons to show support.
