My Mom Was Locked up in a Closet during My Wedding Ceremony — We Were Shocked to Discover Who Did That to Her and Why

My wedding started off perfectly until I noticed my mom was missing. Moments later, she burst into the church, disheveled and furious. To everyone’s shock, she revealed she had been locked in a closet by my future mother-in-law, Grace.

As my dad walked me down the aisle, my excitement turned to panic when I realized Mom wasn’t there. I frantically asked my brothers to search for her, but as minutes passed, the situation grew more alarming. Finally, Mom appeared, her dress wrinkled and hair a mess.

Her rage was directed at Grace, who had locked her away because Mom wore a golden dress. “You locked me in the closet just because I wore this dress!” Mom shouted. Grace, flustered, admitted she wanted to be the only one in gold. Fabian, my groom, demanded Grace leave immediately, which she did, vowing we’d regret it.

Despite the chaos, we resumed the ceremony. Afterward, I found comfort in my mom’s words, “It’s how we handle the imperfections that matter.” We ended the night dancing, grateful that, despite everything, we were together.
