Mom Tries to Ruin Her Son’s Wedding, Wears Long White Tulle Gown to the Ceremony

A bride-to-be didn’t stop her mother-in-law from wearing white to her wedding, much to the dismay of her fiancé. He knew his mom would try to steal the spotlight and insisted his bride-to-be retract her permission. Ultimately, they allowed it, knowing the traditional Indian wedding wouldn’t involve a white dress for the bride anyway.

A man felt his narcissistic mother always made everything about her. When planning his wedding, his mom asked if she could wear white, and he said no. She later asked her future daughter-in-law, who absentmindedly agreed. The fiancé was furious, believing his mom aimed to upstage the bride.

The bride-to-be shared this story on Reddit, seeking advice. Users suggested the fiancé had a history of dealing with his mother’s attention-seeking behavior. After discussing it, the couple decided to communicate better and establish boundaries with the mother-in-law. Ultimately, despite the mother-in-law’s antics, the wedding proceeded beautifully, focusing on the couple’s love and future.
