Mom of five-year-old who died burning inside hyperbaric chamber reveals final act she made in attempt to save son

A five-year-old boy, Thomas Cooper, tragically died in a horrific incident when a hyperbaric chamber caught fire at The Oxford Center in Troy, Michigan, on January 31. He was receiving oxygen therapy when the facility exploded shortly before 8 a.m. His mother, Annie Cooper, desperately tried to save him from the flames but was unable to. She sustained significant burns in the process. The family’s lawyer, James Harrington, shared her traumatic experience, describing her efforts to rescue her child before the fatal explosion. The incident has left the family devastated.
