Martha Stewart, 81, makes ‘historic’ debut as cover girl for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Martha Stewart, the lifestyle expert, has made her Sports Illustrated debut on the iconic Swimsuit Issue cover. At 81, she is the oldest participant ever, a fact she finds historic: “I’m going to be the oldest person I think ever on a cover of Sports Illustrated.” She embraced the challenge of her photoshoot in the Dominican Republic, wearing 10 different looks, but the final cover features her in a white swimsuit with a plunging neckline and an orange shawl.

Age holds no significance for Stewart in daily life: “Age is not the determining factor in terms of friendship or in terms of success.” She embraces her role as a “bona fide sex symbol,” advocating for looking great at any age and sharing “thirst traps” on social media.

Martha Stewart’s age-defying attitude sets an inspiring example for all of us.
