Little Johnny comes down to breakfast. Since they live on a farm, his mother asks if he had done his chores

One morning, Little Johnny comes down for breakfast, and his mother asks if he’s finished his chores. When he admits he hasn’t, she tells him no breakfast until they’re done. Frustrated, Johnny heads outside to feed the animals, angrily kicking a chicken, a cow, and a pig along the way.

After finishing, he returns to the table only to find a bowl of plain cereal. Puzzled, Johnny asks, “Why no eggs, bacon, or milk?” His mother explains, “I saw you kick the chicken, so no eggs for a week. You kicked the pig, so no bacon either. And since you kicked the cow, no milk for a week.”

At that moment, Johnny’s father comes in and kicks the cat across the kitchen. Grinning, Johnny looks at his mother and says, “Do you want to tell him, or should I?”
