Heartbreaking words father screamed upon discovering his baby had died after being left in hot car all day

A one-year-old, Olivia Ancelet, tragically died after being left in her father’s car in hot weather in Sydney, Australia, on February 4. Her father, Etienne Ancelet, had forgotten she was in the vehicle after dropping her off at daycare, thinking she had already been dropped off. When he returned to the car around 5:35 pm, he discovered she was unresponsive. Despite efforts to resuscitate her, Olivia was pronounced dead at the scene. Temperatures reached 86°F that day. Olivia’s parents, Etienne and Kim Visconti, expressed their devastation, describing her as the “light of our lives.” Neighbors who rushed to help described the father’s panic as he screamed, “I’ve killed my daughter.” Authorities have begun an investigation into the incident, emphasizing the dangers of leaving children unattended in vehicles, with police describing the situation as an “absolute tragedy.”
