He refused to pay for his wife’s surgery, chose a plot for her in the cemetery, and left for the sea with his mistress.

In a luxurious private clinic, a young woman named Tamara lay dying. Despite advanced equipment and top doctors, her vital signs flickered weakly. Money, it seemed, couldn’t save her.

In the chief doctor’s office, a tense meeting unfolded. Her husband, Dmitry—a wealthy businessman—opposed surgery. “Why prolong her suffering?” he declared tearfully. But young surgeon Konstantin argued passionately. “We can still save her!”

Despite his pleas, Dmitry signed a refusal form and bribed the chief doctor to halt any intervention. Few knew the real reason—Dmitry had gained his fortune through Tamara and now stood to inherit everything.

Meanwhile, Dmitry toured a cemetery, choosing a grave site for his living wife. “Great view,” he mused coldly. The keeper, Ivan Vladimirovich, was disturbed—Tamara’s name seemed familiar. She’d been his brilliant student.

Sensing foul play, Ivan visited the clinic, where he met Konstantin, who also believed Tamara could be saved. Ivan contacted a former student—now a powerful health official—and pleaded for help.

Moved by his teacher’s urgency, the official intervened. The surgery was finally approved. Tamara survived, rescued from the edge by the dedication of a loyal teacher and a young surgeon who refused to give up.

Sometimes, hope arrives from where we least expect it.
