Frank Caprio owed everything to his wife of 60 years – his message to her before dyong will make you cry

Judge Frank Caprio, known as “the nicest judge in the world,” passed away at 88 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Famous for his compassion on Caught in Providence, Caprio became a symbol of kindness in justice.

Raised in Providence by an immigrant father who helped struggling families, Caprio was shaped by early lessons in empathy. He worked as a dishwasher and shoe-shiner while putting himself through school, eventually becoming a judge known for fairness and warmth.

His wife of 60 years, Joyce, was a quiet force behind his success. She encouraged him to bring his courtroom to TV, turning Caught in Providence into a global phenomenon.
