Fourth daughter dies in hospital days after three sisters were shot and killed by their mum

In a devastating update, Olivia Blackmer, the fourth daughter of a Wyoming mother who shot her children before taking her own life, has passed away.

On February 10, Tranyelle Harshman shot her daughters—Brailey, 9, Brooke, 2, Jordan, 2, and Olivia, 7—before turning the gun on herself. The three younger children died at the scene, while Olivia was taken to a hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Despite fighting for days, she succumbed to her injuries on February 15.

Harshman was pronounced dead on February 11, a day after calling 911 to report the shooting. The dispatcher pleaded with her to stay on the line, but she repeatedly said, “It’s too late.”

Olivia’s family confirmed her passing, saying, “She gained her angel wings. She fought so hard, but her body couldn’t recover.”

Her father, Cliff Harshman, said his wife’s actions were out of character, explaining, “We sought help for her, but something didn’t work.”

A friend shared that Harshman battled postpartum depression, urging compassion. A GoFundMe campaign has raised over $108,000 to assist the grieving family. Funeral details are pending.
