The crash occurred at 8:47 p.m. ET on January 29 when the commercial jet and military helicopter collided during a training flight. Flight 5342, en route from Wichita, Kansas, to Ronald Reagan National Airport, had 60 passengers and four crew members on board. Both aircraft fell into the Potomac River. The identities of 30 victims have been confirmed, with many mourning the devastating loss.
