Little House on the Prairie is beloved, but it had its share of bloopers. Laura’s pregnancy in season seven lasted way too long, and Nellie Oleson’s curls were actually a wig.

One odd moment featured Colonel Sanders in an 1870s episode—complete with real KFC! In another scene, characters walked through “freezing” Minneapolis without coats, thanks to filming in hot Tucson.

Some costume choices were off too—like Caroline Ingalls wearing a bra before it was invented. And a train rescue once used an obvious dummy in place of Albert.

Despite these slip-ups, the show’s charm and message still shine through.
