In a London interview with the film’s writer-director, Coralie Fargeat, Demi disclosed that she contracted shingles during production. The illness caused significant discomfort, including a painful rash and weight loss of around 20 pounds. The film, a provocative exploration of aging in Hollywood, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and is set for a September 20 release.
