A tragic accident in Manitoba, Canada, claimed the lives of at least 15 individuals on Thursday. A bus carrying elderly passengers to a casino collided with a truck at an intersection near Carberry, 170 kilometers west of Winnipeg. Ten other passengers were injured and are receiving medical care. Both drivers survived, but the cause of the crash is under investigation. The scene showed devastating images, including destroyed wheelchair seats and walking frames. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson expressed condolences and support for the victims’ families and the survivors. The local community is shaken, and authorities continue to offer assistance to those affected by the tragedy.
