Barbra Streisand and James Brolin, renowned for their enduring love story, recently marked their 25th anniversary. While their relationship has been an open book to the media, the couple recently shared a surprising revelation about their journey together.

Their romance began with a blind date, where Streisand was expecting someone quite different from the bald-headed Brolin who showed up. Despite her initial candid remark about his hair, Brolin was charmed, recognizing Streisand as his soulmate.

Though it took Streisand a few more dates to be sure, the couple eventually fell deeply in love and exchanged vows in 1998. Both had previous marriages: Streisand to Elliot Gould and Brolin to Jane Agee and Jane Smithers, each with their own children.

Brolin, utterly devoted to his wife, once confessed, “Every night is a new adventure. Sleeping is a waste of time. I can’t wait to see her again in the morning.”
