Richard Gere, 74, and Alejandra Silva, 41, met in 2014 at her family’s hotel in Positano while both were going through divorces. Despite their 33-year age gap, they quickly formed a strong connection. Gere’s romantic gestures, including sending flowers and writing songs, won Silva over. They married in a Buddhist ceremony in April 2018 at Gere’s ranch in New York. The couple has two sons, born in 2019 and 2020. Silva has praised Gere’s energy and character, while Gere describes himself as the happiest man, married to a beautiful, intelligent, and compassionate woman.
