On March 14, 2025, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi vowed to find and prosecute those funding domestic terrorism after recent attacks on Tesla dealerships tied to Trump advisor Elon Musk.
During a Fox News interview, Bondi announced the arrest of Lucy Grace Nelson, who threw a Molotov cocktail through a Tesla dealership window in Loveland, Colorado. Nelson, charged with malicious destruction of property, was found with gasoline, bottles, and wick material.
Bondi warned that those funding such acts would also face prosecution, emphasizing that violent actions would have serious consequences. While no central organizer has been linked to the attacks, Bondi’s office continues investigating the incidents, which have raised concerns among the Trump administration.
President Trump has expressed continued support for Musk’s electric vehicle company amid the escalating vandalism.
