A man and a woman were having dinner in a restaurant

While taking another order nearby, a waitress noticed a man slowly slipping down his chair and under the table. Surprisingly, the woman sitting across from him remained calm and unconcerned as he disappeared from sight. Intrigued, the waitress continued watching until she finished with the other table. She then approached the woman and politely said, “Excuse me, ma’am, but I think your husband just slid under the table.” Without missing a beat, the woman looked up and replied firmly, “No, he didn’t. He just walked in the door.”
