He shared that he had informed the White House of his preference not to receive a pardon, but now that one has been issued, he is uncertain about how to reject it. Schiff noted that this situation is unprecedented and the legal options are unclear. He confirmed that the committee would discuss the matter collectively but suggested that unless there is an effort to prosecute them, the pardon may not be actionable.
