Denise’s world collapses when she catches her husband, Eric, in an affair with her boss’s wife, Vanessa, during a party at her boss Richard’s mansion. Heartbroken, Denise confronts Eric only to be callously thrown out of her own home, as Eric cruelly states, “You should leave. Vanessa will be here soon.”

Homeless and devastated, Denise is staying in a dingy motel when Richard unexpectedly shows up late at night. He proposes an unusual plan to get back at their cheating spouses. Though hesitant, Denise agrees, and together they sneak into her former home with a bag of rats. The next morning, they hear the chaos they’ve unleashed, and for the first time, Denise feels a sense of satisfaction.

As they laugh over breakfast, Denise starts to regain control over her life. “In two days, we’re going on a proper date,” she tells Richard, signaling a new beginning.
