I Got a $500 Fine after My Neighbor Blamed Her Toddler’s Hallway Doodles on My Son – I Did Not Let It Slide

When Caitlin’s neighbor Stacy assumes she’ll babysit her child, Caitlin agrees to help the boy. But one day, the boy draws on the hallway walls, leaving Caitlin with a $500 fine. Determined to teach Stacy a lesson, Caitlin plans her revenge.

Stacy often let her son, Nate, roam the hallway, claiming it was their version of playing outside. Caitlin started inviting Nate over to keep him safe, but Stacy took advantage, extending her alone time. “I just need some alone time,” Stacy said, as she enjoyed her freedom.

One day, Caitlin and her son, Jackson, returned home to find the hallway walls covered in marker drawings. Stacy ignored the mess, so Caitlin was shocked when she got a $500 fine for vandalism. Furious, Caitlin confronted Stacy, who blamed Caitlin for not supervising Nate properly.

Caitlin decided to teach Stacy a lesson. She cleaned the walls and then encouraged Nate to draw on them again, capturing it on video. She showed the footage to the building manager, who transferred the fine to Stacy and warned her about supervision.

Stacy’s reputation suffered among neighbors, and she finally started watching her son properly. Caitlin’s small victory brought peace to their hallway.
