Just before Jane was to walk down the aisle, a note from her maid of honor, Cindy, turned her world upside down.
“Read this now. And go. GO!” Cindy whispered, handing Jane a note that simply read, “Go to the restroom.” Outside the restroom, her father handed her another note, saying, “Read it, but brace yourself.”
The note revealed that Jane’s fiancé, Alex, was cheating with someone named Mara. Their intimate texts detailed plans to meet after the honeymoon. Shocked and heartbroken, Jane asked Cindy how she found out. Cindy had hired a private investigator two months earlier and uncovered the affair.
“I need a moment,” Jane whispered. She decided to expose Alex. With Cindy’s help, they created fake message threads to reveal during the ceremony.
As Jane walked down the aisle, she announced, “Before I marry Alex, there’s something you need to know.” Cindy displayed the fake messages, causing gasps from the guests. Alex protested, but Jane countered, “Yes, these are fake, but they’re just like the real ones Alex has been sending to someone else.”
