A Mysterious Garage Opener Led Me to His Quiet Goodness

While sorting, I discovered a garage door opener in his car—even though we didn’t have a garage that required one. Intrigued, I drove around the neighborhood, pressing the opener as I went.

To my surprise, it worked on a garage at the corner. My heart pounded as the door slowly rose, revealing what was inside.

The garage didn’t hold secrets, but something even more extraordinary: kindness. Inside, there were boxes carefully labeled with dates, each filled with items my husband had quietly gathered for those in need – coats, books, toys, and small tools. For years, he had been helping families in our neighborhood anonymously.
