A new national survey offers fresh insight into how Americans currently view former President Donald Trump and the direction of the country.
While Trump has continued to speak confidently about progress and national momentum, the poll indicates mixed public sentiment as many Americans weigh their personal experiences against the administration’s goals. Rising prices, global events, and domestic debates have influenced how people feel about leadership and national priorities.
According to the latest CNN/SSRS poll, conducted among 1,245 adults, Trump’s approval rating stands at 37%, down from 47% earlier in the year. About 63% of respondents expressed disapproval, marking one of the lower points of his time in office. The poll also reflects a broader national mood, with 68% of Americans saying the country is doing “pretty” or “very badly,” while 32% believe things are going well.
