Ike Turner Jr., son of music legends Tina and Ike Turner, passed away on October 4, 2025, in a Los Angeles hospital at age 67—just one day after his birthday.
His death was confirmed by his cousin Jacqueline Bullock, who revealed that Turner Jr. died from kidney failure after years of heart problems and a recent stroke in September.
His passing adds to a string of tragedies in the Turner family. His mother, Tina Turner, died in 2023 at age 83 following her own battle with kidney disease. In 2017, Tina had received a life-saving kidney transplant from her husband, Erwin Bach, after years of damage caused by high blood pressure.
