Tyler Robinson, 22, is being held without bail after a Utah judge ordered his detention on charges related to the fatal shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk.

Though formal charges are still pending, court documents indicate Robinson faces accusations of aggravated murder, felony firearm discharge, and obstruction of justice. Despite having no prior criminal history, the severity of the allegations led to his continued detention.

Investigators recovered a high-powered bolt-action rifle in a wooded area where Robinson allegedly fled. Alongside the weapon, law enforcement found footwear impressions, palm and forearm prints. The FBI Laboratory will examine these items for forensic evidence. Officials also discovered unusual engravings on nearby ammunition, referencing internet memes, video games, and subcultural slogans, including phrases from Helldivers 2, the resistance anthem Bella Ciao, and language from the furry community.
