Lindsey Graham Says Whoever Leaked Intelligence Report Belongs In Jail

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has voiced strong condemnation over the leak of a classified U.S. intelligence report regarding military strikes in Iran, suggesting the leaker could be a member of Congress. Speaking to Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Graham emphasized that only certain congressional committees receive such sensitive information and implied political motives may be behind the disclosure, particularly to undermine former President Donald Trump. He firmly stated that anyone who leaks classified information, regardless of their title, should be jailed. Graham dismissed the idea that the operation had failed and characterized the strike as a massive military success. He criticized the leak as a politically motivated effort to contradict Trump’s account of the operation’s success, particularly regarding claims the bombing had no effect on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Amid speculation, some in Trump’s circle are pointing fingers at Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, claiming she is “in the line of fire” during the leak investigation. Despite no direct evidence, Trump allies are reportedly suspicious of Gabbard’s role, especially since she was abruptly excluded from a key intelligence briefing on the attack. Journalist Michael Wolff suggested that in typical Trump fashion, the focus has shifted to finding someone to blame, and Gabbard has become the current scapegoat. Meanwhile, sources inside the administration argue that the media is exaggerating her involvement. Trump’s anger over leaked reports suggesting the strike failed has led him to reduce intelligence briefings to Congress and intensify efforts to identify the source of the breach.
