Prince William reveals that he and Kate Middleton let their dog Orla sleep in the same bed as them

Prince William and Kate Middleton have always shared a deep love for animals, a passion they continue to nurture within their family. After the death of their beloved dog Lupo in 2020, they welcomed a new cocker spaniel named Orla, given to them by Kate’s brother. Orla has since become a cherished member of the family, especially loved by their children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

Prince William recently revealed that Orla shares their bed at night, a detail that surprised many. He described her as a cuddly dog who loves spending time with him and Kate. Orla’s name, meaning “golden princess,” suits her regal status in the family.

The couple’s affection for dogs is longstanding. Lupo, who passed away in 2020, was integral to their family and even helped them choose their son George’s name. Orla is now helping the family heal and grow.
