Gary shot and killed Doucet, an incident captured on tape. A police officer quickly approached Gary, asking, “Why, Gary?! Why?” Despite being the one who killed Doucet, Gary never went to jail. As part of the agreement, Gary received a seven-year suspended sentence, five years of probation, and 300 hours of community service, which he completed in 1989.
