Authorities responded to a call on November 27 at an apartment complex in Berne, Indiana, for a death investigation. Upon arriving, Berne Assistant Police Chief James Newbold noticed a significant heat difference when entering the bedroom and approaching the closet where the child’s body was found. The child’s parents are now facing serious criminal charges in connection to the incident.
