3 Missing Texas Girls Found Alive in a Hollow Tree

Three young girls—Emily Rivera, Zoey Nash, and Hope Lin—were found alive nearly ten days after vanishing during Texas floods. Missing near Camp Wrenwood, they were discovered just a mile away, sheltering inside a hollow oak tree.

A hiker heard faint cries for help and alerted rescuers, who found the girls huddled inside, using towels and bark to stay warm. Their survival is credited to a recent wilderness safety drill, where they learned to stay dry, stay together, and stay quiet.

Despite dehydration and exhaustion, all three are expected to recover. Their story went viral, with #HollowTreeHeroes trending as a symbol of resilience and hope.
